Community Health initiatives
A Path to Nourishing Communities.
We greatly appreciate the invaluable work of our local community health volunteers (CHVs). Their dedication to improving community health is truly commendable. Our organization is proud to collaborate with them in various village-based initiatives, providing both support and resources. Our volunteers work alongside CHVs in crucial activities, including:
- Treatment and jiggers awareness campaigns
- Deworming programs
- Measuring and monitoring blood pressure and blood sugar levels
- Distribution of vaccines
- Distribution of mosquito nets
Additionally, we support the CHVs by providing space at our center for their campaigns and meetings.
Looking ahead, we are committed to constructing a well-equipped community clinic. This facility will enable CHVs, in collaboration with qualified medical staff, to better address emergency health issues. It will focus on serving pregnant women, children, the elderly, and the sick, improving access to timely and comprehensive care for the entire community.
